1. Information we collect

We only ask for what we need to quote and carry out work safely and accurately.

• Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address, property address and postcode.
• Job details: the service you need, description of the problem, preferred appointment times, and any photos or documents you upload with an enquiry.
• Correspondence: emails, form submissions, chat messages and call notes.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring page. Analytics data is only collected where you have given consent.

2. Why we use your information (lawful bases)

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote — steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
• To schedule, carry out and invoice work, and to honour warranty claims — performance of a contract.
• To keep records for accounting, insurance and warranty purposes — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
• To improve our website and measure marketing performance — consent (analytics and marketing cookies).
• To send service updates or offers by email or SMS — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the people and providers needed to deliver our service:

• Our tradespeople and any subcontractor assigned to your job, limited to what they need to attend.
• Suppliers where parts or materials must be ordered for your job.
• Service providers who host our website, deliver our email, take payments, or provide analytics on our behalf.
• Our insurers, accountants and professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

• Unsuccessful enquiries and quotes: up to 12 months from your last contact.
• Completed job records, invoices and warranty documentation: 7 years, or the length of any warranty issued (up to 10 years) if longer.
• Marketing consents and opt-out records: until you withdraw consent, plus a suppression record so we do not contact you again.
• Website analytics: retained in aggregated form only, in line with the settings of the analytics provider.

5. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, restrict access to enquiry and customer records to staff who need it, and require our tradespeople to keep customer information confidential. All our engineers are DBS checked. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we keep our controls under review and will tell you and the ICO where required if a serious breach occurs.

6. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email hello@omniserveuk.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site work, plus optional analytics and marketing cookies that only run if you accept them. See our cookie policy for the full detail and to change your choice.

8. Children

Our services are aimed at property owners and occupiers aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
